Kristin A. Kapfer
Settlement Coordinator
Kristin graduated from Howard Community College in Maryland with an AA degree in the legal secretarial program and has over 15 years experience as a legal assistant/paralegal. She has an extensive background in drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements and court pleadings.
In 2003 she began work in the Structured Settlement business as an administrator and Structured Settlement coordinator. As such, she assists in all aspects of the settlement process from the client’s initial telephone call to the distribution of the annuity policy. These duties include preparation of Structured Settlement quotes and proposals and, upon settlement of the case, assisting with preparation of the documents necessary to conclude the case. Her keen analytical eye assures that all quotes are accurate before being sent to the client.
Her legal background is ideal for the Structured Settlement industry and she is an invaluable resource for our organization and clients.
